Adventure @ Work: GEO-MRI | NMR round trip through the Wild West

Ahead of me: Almost 4,000 miles on the road, criss-crossing the western part of this vast, crazy country, alone in a big truck, loaded with Vista-Clara's innovative NMR technology. Albeit a bit intimidated, I am really excited about it!

Depending on the project workload, we will work at 3-4 stations and conduct GEO-MRT measurements in the states of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and finally in Northern California, bordering Oregon. The project specifications relate to challenges in the realm of geotechnical examinations, mining, groundwater and soil remediation.

I myself am now as excited as a flash to see how it will all work out - for one, as a "Lonesome GEO-MRI Cowboy" on the long ride into the next sunset.... Secondly, how all the equipment, plus the vehicle, and everything else will hold up.

In any case: It will be an excellent stress test for me as head of operations for similar projects in Europe, given the expected challenges for man and machine. And yet, I always know that I am in good hands, considering the excellent team work at | with the company's headquarter in Mukilteo (Metropolitan Seattle). During a project, we remain in constant contact and exchange. This works excellently with the Vista-Clara team!

In this respect: Good luck to all of us who are involved in this GEO-MRT adventure! However, this also applies to those individuals in Germany | Europe, who have soon the choice to regularly benefit from this GEO-MRI technology in our region.
