"For the Moab UMTRA Project we worked with Prof. Ken Williams, to demonstrate the ability of a chemical reactive barrier composed of hydroxyapatite to uptake and remove uranium from the groundwater system. Part of this investigation included NMR surveys provided by Vista Clara which allowed for the remote monitoring of hydroxyapatite precipitation prior to and after the subsurface injection of calcium citrate and sodium phosphate.
More than 12 NMR surveys were conducted remotely over several days, and the results were imperative to the success of this investigation. Vista Clara delivered the results in a very timely fashion, and provided top-level professional field engineers who were extremely easy to work with."
